We will offer a fixed fee with no VAT applicable to provide the necessary designs and drawings to make a householder planning application on your behalf. We will modify and revise the design as many times as necessary to ensure you end up with the design you want at the fee we quote.

Our Building Regulations Drawing service provides enough information for any competent builder to provide an accurate price for the work and to go on and build the project. Fixed Fees for this service will depend on the size of the projects and will have no VAT applicable.

Some Interesting facts about Osbaldwick

Osbaldwick, a village and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England:

1. Ancient Origins:
   • Osbaldwick has been in existence since at least the 11th century.
   • Mentioned three times in the Domesday Book as “Osboldewic,” it derives its name from Osbald, an earl in the kingdom of Northumbria.
   • The manor was assessed alongside the city of York and lands held by the Church of St Peter, York¹.
2. Architectural Gems:
   • Osbaldwick Manor: Once the de facto lord of the village, it was sold in 1852 to Thomas Samuel Watkinson, later the Lord Mayor of York.
   • St. Thomas’s Church: A historic church in Osbaldwick, it has witnessed centuries of local life and worship.
   • Conservation Area: Osbaldwick was declared a conservation area in 1978, preserving its architectural heritage¹.
3. Geography:
   • Osbaldwick lies about 2 miles east of York, effectively becoming a suburb of the city.
   • The village proper centers around Osbaldwick Village, with newer housing surrounding it.
   • Osbaldwick Beck runs through the village, contributing to the tributary system of the River Foss
